Message from GKLL President Rob Pascale

First off, I want to thank all of our league members for trusting us in ensuring we would have a SAFE, FULL, and FUN Season! We couldn’t of had done it without all of your support and cooperation! Although we are sad to see the season end, I can tell you our Boys & Girls played the MOST Baseball & Softball in years!!!!!

Next, I would like to Congratulate some CHAMPIONS! First our Nonna’s Senior Minor American All-Stars in winning our First Championship in 10 years!! And now to our Team without the dream, Our 12-Year-Old Allstars. Going into this season we transformed our league from 2 charters (American & National) into one league we knew this team was something special. Unfortunately, when the pandemic hit back in March the first thing that came to my mind was we HAVE to give these boys a chance at something. I want to Thank Dist. 24 DA & Past GKLL President Frank Cambria for ensuring that our boys along with all of the other leagues on Staten island will have a chance to compete at the District level. Needless to say our team without the dream went undefeated and won the 2020 District 24 CHAMPIONSHIP! And it didn’t stop there Frank was able to get a Section 3 South (NYC) Tournament a well. I would now like to Congratulate every single member of that team for earning that BANNER and becoming the 2020 Dist. 24 & Section 3 South Champions!! Remember boys GKLL will always be your home!

Now, I would like to thank my Entire Board of Directors without you this season wouldn’t have happened! As we enter the winter I would like to let everybody know Registration is now open and on going for the 2021 season, Please visit our website www.gklittleleague.com to register online or view in person dates make sure to take advantage of our discount before dec 1st!.  We hope to see everybody back in the Spring!!
