Message from Robert Pascale, President GKLL
The start of the season begins tomorrow, Monday, July 6, 2020. Although we are starting a few months late due to the pandemic all children in every division will get a full season of play. I want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding during these trying times.
Little League Baseball and Softball is important to our community. This pandemic has been stressful to many and we recognize that socializing and interacting with peers is a healthy way for children to cope with stress and connect with others. The health and safety of our children, families and volunteers is our highest priority and we will take every precaution possible by following CDC guidelines to safeguard our facilities and to keep everyone safe.
Some of the actions that we have taken are as follows: the complex has been thoroughly cleaned and all bathrooms and the concession stand were professionally cleaned and sanitized. Hand sanitizers have been installed throughout the complex and in all of the dugouts. We are requesting that everyone wear a face covering on the complex and maintain social distancing. There is signage throughout the complex reminding everyone to be conscious of their surroundings and to respect each other’s space.
Finally, I ask that we all be mindful and responsible by using good judgment before coming to and during your time at the complex. On behalf of myself and the Board of Directors have a wonderful season and I look forward to seeing you all.
Thank you and stay healthy,
Robert Pascale, GKLL President
